Who is responsible

This is the personal website of Sinan-Deniz Çeviker, Groningen, the Netherlands. For any question about your data, email denizceviker12@gmail.com.

What this site collects

• Analytics, only if you agree. If you choose "Accept" in the cookie banner, the site loads Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read. Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _ga_075R6P76VN and receives your IP address, which Google uses to estimate your general location. If you choose "Decline", or make no choice, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set. Google keeps the analytics data for 14 months. Google Ireland Limited processes this data for me.
• Your choice. The site remembers whether you accepted or declined in your browser's local storage (sinan-consent-v1). You can change your choice at any time through "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
• Hosting. The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web server, it briefly processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and keep them secure.
• Nothing else. The site has no forms, no accounts and no newsletter. Fonts are served from this site itself. The CV download is a plain file. Links to LinkedIn, GitHub, WhatsApp and other sites take you to those services, whose own privacy policies apply.

Why

Analytics runs on your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)). Hosting runs on my legitimate interest in operating a secure website (art. 6(1)(f)).

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, object to its use, or withdraw your consent, by emailing denizceviker12@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl (opens in a new tab)).
